Description: Photograph of the first school in Fairchilds, five miles from Needville, Texas. From 1930 to 1931, that teacher was Henry Ripple. From 1931 to 1934, it was Mrs. Anna McGar. The last teacher was Hermina Lehmann from 1934 to the school's closure in 1937. The building pictured is the living quarters provided to the teacher of the Concord School.
