Description: Letter from B. D. Dashiell to Hon. J. D. Giddings. Dashiell tells Giddings that the boarding house at Chappell Hill Female College is insured by the Planters Insurance Company of Houston for $2,500, and since he believes that Mrs. Carmer has forgotten this detail, he will write to her to remind her. Also, he showed Giddings' letter to Joseph Stone and received his advice to sell the boarding house property and divide the proceeds among the stockholders.
