I hear that Johnny Draper is going
to give a party on March 1. Gee, that
suie is swell of you to give me a
birthday party, Johnny. I can start
to school next year fer on the 21st,

And no remarks, Judy, I already
know what I act like.
* * *
l want to tell you about something
that I am sure you have not noticed.
Now it seems that I was such a good
girl (that is not what I expected you
to notice) that someone came along
and gave me a nickel. With that
nickel, says I, I can make many more
nickels—if I am lucky. So I takes
me off to a joint where horse-racing
machines abide in abundance (I can
read a dictionary, too). But when l
got there, nary a one was in sight.
Nor was there a one in evidence all
over town. 1 was wondering over
such, when someone came along, and
said, “Hey, Winchell, how is the
Grand Jury doing?
* * *
One little gpl over did herself at
too many dances and gadabouts that
shs had a relapse of the flu. More
sleep.ng and stuff.
* * *
A certain deputy of our fair town
came in the other day and asked,
'may I have a nickel to go and buy
a cup of coffee?”
* * *
More people’s initials in this town
spell things. Can you figure these
out? S. E. W., W. A. D., L. A. D.,
A. S., C. A. T., J. E. W., H. E.
R., R. A. T., J. A. B., O. A. T.,
M. A. W., E. R. A.

One of our most eminent citizens,
Mr. Pel-Harbison, is quite gallant. I
wish some people could take lessons
from him. Just to show you how
good he is, he told me that he knew
I got my writing talent (if that isn t
gallantry, I don’t know what is) from
my Grandmother Fly. (No cracks,
either) anyhow I sure do thank you,
Pci.
And with this last sililoquoy, I say
adieu.

21 DAY TEST
PROVES YOU CAN
SAFELY LOSE FAT
just “thinking;” about reducing
won’t rid you of that unsightly bundle
of fat. ACTION COUNTS! Start this
very day and grow more attractively
slcnuer, younger looking—here’s the
ideal way—safe easy, inexpensive—
it’s helped thousands to reduce—let it
help YOU.
Get a 4-oz. jar of Kruschen Salts—
costs but few cents and lasts for
weeks. Take a half teaspoonful in a
glass of hot water first thing every
morning and cut down on fat meats,
butter, cream and sugary sweets—do
this without fail every hay for 21
d.i>s—then weigh ourself and note
the pounds you’ve lost.
Not only that but you should feel
better than you have in years, keener
mind, more energetic because Krusc’n-
cr. is a blend of 6 seperate salts
which help liver, kidneys, gall blad-
der and bowels function as Nature
intended—that’s why it gives such
satisfactory results.
Mrs. Alice Miller of Yreka, Calif.,
writes: “3 weeks ago I yeighed 157.
Now am down to 142 and feel fine.”
