Letter from the McMurry College Alpha Chi chapter, written to their alumni regarding a donation made in the name of A. V. Hendricks, Jr., an ex-member killed during World War Ii. It includes an enclosed copy of the program from the benefit performance of "My Country" held on December 10, 1945 in the Radford Memorial Auditorium to raise money for the scholarship.

Notes

Text on program: "According to the traditions of Alpha Chi, a silver offering is taken at the end of each annual program. This year your offering will be used in the establishment of the A. H. Hendricks Memorial Scholarship Loan Fund. A. H. was the only Alpha Chi killed in World War II. He was elected to Alpha Chi as a junior member in 1938, and served as president in 1939-40. Plates for the offering will be found in the rear."
