STUDENT ART BRIGHTENS BANK RENOVATION WORK - The First National Bank of Clifton has
taken on a bright look, thanks to the student art work hung on the teller's counter, and despite the
renovation work being done throughout the building. New holes in walls and missing counters give no
indication of what is to come.

I have been Jo thankful for our many
members and supporters in the past few

have responded enthusiastically. We
have had several committee meetings
in the past couple of weeks and the re-
sponse has been great. A big thank you
goes out to each one of you!
Special thanks also go out to the em-
ployees and residents of the Clifton
Care Center. They have graciously vol-
unteered to fold newsletters and bro-
chures for the Chamber. They have
been doing a great job and are greatly
appreciated!
You may have noticed in The Clif-

now a volunteer station for retired se-
nior citizens. All those goodie bags,
copying, and folding have been worked
on diligently by our sole volunteer,
Bobbv Warren. Mr Warren volunteers
every Tuesday and I hursday mornings.
If you see Mr.Warren, please tell him
thank vou and that you appreciate his
time!
I also would like to thank Luann
Sandahl for coming in and helping me
set up files and procedures for us to
begin contacting industrial leads. She
spem a few hours on the phone this past
week and came up with a few pros-
pects. She promises to continue to help
out. So please thank her, too!
And next we have a group of volun-
teers from Clifton ISD. Kelly Lauderdale
and her Life Skills Class will be clean-
ing the Chamber office once a week,
which will be very helpful indeed! They
have also helped fold brochures, and
will help again in the future!
