Mary and Lucille Lowder attend-
ded a beauty clinic at the Kemp
Hotel in Wichita Falls on Sunday
and Monday aftemons of this
week. They report that the styles
for this fall are returning to the
slightly longer hairdos with the
accent on casual waves and fewer
curls, with no shingled styles.
Looks as if the girls are going to
have to concentrate on hair grow-
ers for a while now.
George B. Toby of the Toby St.
Marking firm in Dallas was a bus-
iness visitor recently. While in Hol-
liday. he met with members of
the Civic Club’s Street Marker
committee and discussed with the
members more details of the drive
that is now almost completed.
Mrs. Riddle’s mother, 83-year old
Mrs. Holbrook of Electra, is re-
ported in an improved condition
at the General hospital in Wichita
Falls following a recent operation.

T. - O. Fair will be Thursday ev-
ening, Sept. 30th from 6:30 to 7:30
A good program is in the offing.
The Holliday school exhibit will
be put up next Monday, Sept. 27.
Mr. and Mrs. Slim Powell and
Harvey visited Saturday night and
Sunday in Walters, Okla.

Dodd, is improving in the Wichita
General Hospital where he has
been receiving treatment.

ter, Mrs. Charles Hodges in Wichi-
