Postcard with a photograph showing the "wholesale coffee house fire" and two firemen walking up a long ladder that is leaning against the wall of the building. Both men have a hold of a long hose as they climb, and the firemen at the bottom are giving them more slack as they move up. At ground level there are lots of people crowding around hoping to get a view of the action.
