The caption reads, "Belles of 1918 - Ready for shopping spree in the early days of Abilene Christian College are these characters portrayed by ACC students. From left to right, are Marca Lee Bryant of Salem, Ore., Betty Kelley of Richland, Wash., Barbara Hart of Abilene, Nancy Patterson of Hereford, Lucy Freeman of McAlester, Okla., and Bonnie Smith of Abilene. The girls will be featured in ‘Let's Go for a Stroll Downtown,’ a musical number in ‘A City Set on a Hill,’ to be presented during ACC's Anniversary Celebration which begins this week."
