This map shows the state of Texas and surrounding areas including the Apache and Comanche Indian areas, the Cross Timbers, roads, and land "explored by LeGrand in 1833." The map shows major cities, bodies of water, and geographic features (relief shown with hachures) and each of the Texas counties is colored. In the lower left corner there is an inset containing "Texas north of Red River." Prime meridians: Greenwich and Washington. Scale: [ca. 1:3,379,200].
