The State of Texas. County of Travis.
I, Dennis Corwin, a Surveyor in the employ of the Texan Emigration and Land Company, authorized and designated by Henry O. Hedgcoxe, the agent of said Company, to make surveys for said Company, in Peter’s Colony, State of Texas, do hereby certify and solemnly swear that the above map exhibits truly and correctly, and is the map of sundry and certain surveys, made by me for said Company, as aforesaid, in said Colony, and in the County of Young; In with those, which on said map are numbered respectively 3401, 3402, 3403, 3404, 3405, 3406, 3407, 3408, 3409, 3410, 3411, 3412, and 3413; The field notes of which I have heretofore signed, sworn to and returned to said agent, are those numbered 3401 to 3410, inclusive, on the 21st day of June 1858, and those numbered 3411, 3412 and 3413, on the 8th day of December 1858. And that said map while also the relative situation of said surveys and their connection with other surveys. Signed and sworn to by me this 2nd day of January 1859. Witness my Hand Seal. [signed] Dennis Corwin.
The State of Texas. County of Travis. This day, Dennis Corwin, to me well know. Before me, Peter B. Lowe, a notary Public in and for said County appeared at my Office in the city of Austin and took the foregoing oath by me to him, then and there administered, and signed and sealed the same. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand, and affixed the impress of my notarial seal, at my said Office this 2nd day of January 1859. [signed] Peter B. Lowe, Notary Public, Travis Co. Texas. Agent’s Office Texan Emigration Land Co. Austin. January 2, 1859.
I, Henry O. Hedgcoxe, agent of said Company, do hereby certify that I have examined the foregoing map and find it correct, and that a duplicate thereof properly authenticated is in file in my Office. To certify which, I hereto set my hand, and this day affix the impress of the seal of said Company: hereunto, [signed] Henry O. Hedgcoxe, Agt. T. E. & Land Company, Texas.
