Description

Onionskin paper carbon copy of letter to W.T. Harris of Refugio, Texas from John J. Herrera, informing Harris that Herrera had complaints in regards to mistreatment of citizens in Refugio County. Herrera mentions Polo Jasso and Amado Laurel, who were slapped and kicked on the shins by W.T. Harris. Herrera informs Harris of the following: "In the future, Mr. Harris, I advise you to make an arrest if you observe a violation of any law [...] I must also advise you that if I have any more complaints in regard to your official conduct, I shall be forced to proceed … continued below
