Notes

Text: “Thursday afternoon. My Love — No, it’s not three weeks, it’s not even two weeks until it will all be over and I will be able to kiss you goodnight - and the way they are going now is altogether too fast for my own good on these exams. One tomorrow, one Saturday, one Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, then one more the following Monday. If I’m not a nervous wreck by that time I ought to be! I’ve been studying anatomy all day today, and surely did enjoy and appreciate your letter as a very pleasant interruption. Gosh, Libo, you have no idea what hell (I hated to say it but I didn't know how to draw it!) these finals are. They’re practically got you at their mercy, because it’s about impossible to know it all. And in parasitology and bacteriology next week I’m just going to have to trust to luck, like everybody else, ‘cause we haven’t studied it a bit during the term. I don’t suppose you have yet gotten tot he stage of finals or final rush — maybe I’ll get there in time to “help” you with some of it, want me to? Sweetheart, I love you, and think of you between each paragraph. Kiss me so I can read another paragraph. Your own, Felix.”
