Notes

Text: "Tuesday night. My Sweetheart:- I knew you'd have a big time on such an expedition, and my I wish I could have been with you. I don't think I'll get to take this to the train tonight as we're having an Ostern meeting in a few minutes -- said it was important, but I don't imagine it will an't to anything. Three hours at school today! Wasn't that terrible? I studied a while right after dinner, went over and checked in my bacteriology lab stuff -- and got two out of three of my [...] right, which was better than the average was doing, but was good luck on my part. Then we all went swimming -- or rather went to the beach and played ball, for we went in only about fifteen minutes, as the water was calm and not very good swimming. Had lots of fun and got pretty well worked out. Gosh, I do hate to get to reviewing -- al my thoughts are set on getting away from here -- and these exams are going to step up on my if I don't watch out -- next Tuesday is the first one, and from then on they come in pretty rapid order until the morning of the 28th -- alternating writtens and orals, I just can't concentrate worth a rap -- guess I'll end up doing some terrible wee small hour studying next week. Driftwood? I don't believe I've ever been there, though I know I've heard of the place before. -- They're calling me to come in to the meeting, sweetheart -- but I'll be back in a minute. -- Later - As I thought, it was just a final meeting of the year and a reminder to pay up the remaining dues and assessments etc for the page in the Cates and the dance; but mine's all paid, thank goodness. These two roommates of mine have disappeared somewhere, guess I'll have to tear out to town and see if I can find 'em -- incidentally mail this so that it will get off first thing in the morning. Robert Lee finally got Charlie W. to take his sister -- which takes a temptation away from me -- 'cause I'll admit I would like to make that dance -- as much to say that I had been, as anything else. Million stars are out tonight -- wish I were were I could kiss you for each and every one of them. I love you, Libbus -- Your own, Felix."
