Notes

Text: "Saturday noon. My Precious -- You know there's nothing the matter -- no, you don't either when you go two days without a letter -- but really, again, you should have had one, 'cause I have taken them directly to the train this week. I'm sorry, though -- but am glad you do miss them, and just love you more than you think -- my whole life, all my interests -- sweetheart, you're the center. Yesterday we put in 16 hours actual work -- nine of them on embryology drawings -- and Charlie Hardwicke and I stayed up till after one and finished them. They have been "bugger-boo" for some weeks. We only have one more class in anatomy, and a few scattered ones in the other subjects next week, but my all the reviewing that's got to be done. I'm starting out right, too (?) by going to Houston this afternoon, Fish wanted to drive over to leave his car to be painted; maybe it'll be good to get away a few hours, anyhow -- and anyhow I received a special from mother this morning containing something that took a load off my mind! "Nighttime and You" -- yes. I have heard it. It is a real pretty piece -- the title alone is enough to express my sentiments! Sweetheart, three weeks from now we'll have only one more exam, three days after three weeks from now, I'll be where? I love you, Libbus -- Your own, Felix."
