Color halftone postcard showing Bob's 1 Stop Service Station and Truck Stop, Marshall, Texas, Bob Bartley, owner. On the far left is a flat-roofed service building with metal framework on top of the roof to support two signs with the outline of a big number "1" behind the letters "Bobs Stop." In front of that are 5 gas pumps in a row. An automobile is parked behind the pumps, and several trucks and cars are parked in a row between the pumps and three sign poles at the edge of the highway. The signs say, "Truck Flats Fixed," "Public Scales, and " Truck Discount." Smaller signs on the ground next to the poles include one for Quaker State Motor Oil." A Tastee-Freez sign and building is visible next to the truck stop. Printed at the bottom of the message section on the back of the card: "Pub. by Eastex Photo Supply, Marshall, Texas, 96191." Printed between the message and address sections is: "Genuine Natural Color Made By Dexter Press, Inc., West Nyack, N. Y." There is no message or postmark on the card.
