Notes

Text on item: "Dear Ike. Thanks for your interesting letter + the clippings - they are very unusual to say the least. I don't understand a mind that worked like Mr. Moody's did. He surely did not do much for his flesh + blood, did he? I never thought much of [...] Moody III tho I knew him very slightly - he seemed to entirely lack personality and warmth. Queer folks. Am returning the clippings. I surely would like to see Fanny when she comes out. Tell her to be sure, look me up. In view of the confidential remarks in your letter, I think I had better not try + contact the McDonalds until Fanny comes out. they could put 2 + 2 together. Nothing especially of note since my last letter. The heat has abated + it is comfortable again. I suppose it is wonderful up in Lake Placid - I've been there several times and always found it beautiful. The Lord willing, I'm going back to [...] in June '56. I think I told you but am out [...] to my 50 reunion. If I [...] I'll surely return via Galveston + look in on you + Hennie. I will be a great pleasure I'm sure. All the best to you both Faithfully Allen"
