Photograph of the front and east side of a white, single-story, stucco building with a hipped roof and a small entry porch with an extended gabled roof over the door in the center of the building. There is a window with an arched top on either side of the door with raised crowns over the door and windows; the windows along the side of the building are narrow with slightly-arched tops and raised sills. An extension on the right side of the building has a shed roof and a second entrance with a small angled roof above the doorway. There is a historical building medallion posted to the left of the door and a sign that says "Tax Office, New Braunfels Ind. School District and City of New Braunfels" above the main door. Other buildings are partially visible on either side of the image and cars are parked in the lot at the right.
