For President:
Daniel CahtH:
Daniel Cahill, a man of the people.
Daniel Cahill, a Proud Texan.
Daniel Cahill, a loyal student to STCL.
Daniel Cahill is proudly running to be the
next President of STCL. Daniel has always
been a man of the people, and nothing comes
easier to Daniel than being a Proud Texan.
Right now we as the student body have an
amazing opportunity to elect Daniel Cahill as
the next President of SBA.
As your next President Daniel will continue
to champion the concerns of the student body.
Daniel will help to maintain the reputation
South Texas has, and he will work to ensure
it grows long after we are admitted to the Bar.
As a Texan, Daniel knows how to work hard
for you.
As a man of the people, Daniel has always
looked after others.
As a student, Daniel is the best candidate for
your next President.
Do the right thing!
Do the Texan thing!
Vote for the people's representative Daniel
Cahill.
Gianpaolo Maceróla:
My name is long and cumbersome, just call
me GR With all the candidates running for
president, just remember that I am the only
candidate that tried to run for SBA president
last year, but was barred due to a lack of
completed hours. My campaign has not
changed: Take down the four horsemen of
the apocalypse (Financial Aid, Career
Resources, Accounting & The Registrar). Vote
for me because beards, they grow on you.
Jordan Stapley:
Yogi Berra once said, t4when you come to
a fork in the road, take it." While completely
inapplicable to my platform, it is still very
thought provoking.
I am passionate about South Texas and our
student body. I continually look for
opportunities to leave a positive footprint on
our future almamator. Serving as your
President will present an excellent opportunity
to effect positive change amongst our school.
I have two years of experience working
with the SBA. I was selected as 1L
Representative in the Fall of2006, and elected
last year to serve as your Mid-Law Senator.
My positions have afforded many
opportunities to develop relationships with the
administrators and faculty. These
relationships will facilitate quick transition
into implementing our ideas in the upcoming
year. My experience gives me the unique
ability to understand the inner-workings of the
SBA, and to recognize the requirements of
serving as. President.
Because I know the difficulties of
implementing actual change, Í won't make
grandiose promises assuring sweeping
and administration. I WILL, however, assure
that we will continue to better the efforts
towards improvement within our school.
Efforts focused on our financial aid office,
registrar's office, and career center. My goal
is with the SBA and our Administrators
working in concert, we can help foster a spirit
of customer service and quality to all the
"amenities*'provided our student body. Thank
you in advance for your consideration, and
remember as P-Diddy so eloquently put it,
"Vote or Die."

Hello, I'm Bobby Vuong and I am the best
candidate for SBA President. I will work the
hardest -for you because I believe in the
potential of the student body of this school
and under my leadership I know we can reach
it together. As President, my number one
priority will be to you, the student at STCL. I
will listen, understand, and be proactive
towards any of your concerns. I possess the
leadership experience to make a difference at
our school and most of all, I genuinely care.
Being raised in Laguna Beach, California,
I have an interest in outdoor activities and
social events such as surfing competitions,
baseball, and offering guided tours around my
hometown. Additionally, my diverse
professional background in banking, lending,
and fundraising allows me to look at issues
from a different and unique perspective.
Above is a picture of me and my friend's
puppy (I'm holding her, not strangling her).
I hope you believe in me as much ais I
believe in you. Thanks for your consideration.
For Vice President:
Zachary Allie
Hello my fellow student, I appreciate you
taking time to learn about the candidates who
want to represent your interests at South Texas.
My name is Zachary Allie, and I am seeking
your vote for the position of SBA Vice
President. The Vice President is responsible
for the SBA's involvement with community
service projects and other student
organizations. I have spent the last two years
representing the students through the SBA as
a First Year Representative and a Freshman
Senator so I know what needs to be done to
make these projects and the SBA successful.
In the past, students have shown their
support for die community by participating in
the Houston Food Bank food drive and Triple
Play Softball tournament. As Vice President,
I will not only seek to increase the impact of
these events, but also encourage student
involvement throughout the school year in
other events.
But, the Vice President should do more
than just organize events. The Vice President
should truly represent the students by
encouraging students to take much needed
breaks, by listening to concerns and Offering
a helping hand when possible, and by being
available to students while they spend long
hours buried in their books. I am die person
for the job. My experience with the SBA and
the high standards to which I hold myself will
make me an effective and efficient Vice
President. For this, I ask you to vote Zachary
Allie for Vice President.
For Secretary:
Meghann Conley
This year, I had the opportunity to be a member of SBA
as a 1L Representative for Section Á. I enjoyed working
with all of the officers to plan events and make changes in
the school, and I hope you give me the chance to continue
that work as Secretary.
Vote Meghann Conley for Secretary of SBA!
Ankita Puri
The spirit of South Texas College of Law lies in its ability
as an institution to come together and move towards the
single goal of standing out in the legal community. As
Secretary, it will be my goal to effectively communicate
activities around campus and make sure students have an
opportunity to get more involved. The essence of South
Texas is the strong network which can be built through a
variety of Student Bar Association organized events and
mixers. It is the job of a Student Government to make sure
these resources are utilized to their fullest capacity, and the
only way to do so is through efficient communication and
publication of upcoming events. I will be committed to using
all appropriate means to let you know what South Texas
has to offer to expand your network, and when it comes
time for you to gain employment, you can be confident that
you have taken advantage of all of the great resources this
school has to offer. Therfc are many activities at STCL which
go unnoticed by a handful of the student body, and this must
change!
Oh, and of course we can't forget the importance of
letting the student body know of all the great parties we
have here at STCL But that's just a given.
Vote Ankita Puri for Secretary, and rest assured that your
vote will count towards the foundation of your professional
network and your involvement in this great institution!
For Treasurer:
Jen Rabbitt
My name is Jen Rabbitt and I am currently a 1L
representative. I am great with money. I literally keep a
check book register for all of my credit cards and reconcile
them every three days. This may make me wierd, but you
can be sure your money is safe!! I have experience in SBA
and I have been past treasurer of student organizations and
have done the finances for an entire city. Please vote for
me for Treasurer! Thanks!
