Postmaster.
Oscar Stamps received the
commission Monday for post-
master of the Ore City postofice
to succeed Dr. J. D. Carrol, re-
aigned. There were four ap
plicants for this office who took
the required CIvi Service ex-'
amination and Mr. Stamps re-
ceived the highest grade.
He will take charge of the
office as soon as his bond has
been approved, and will arrange
to have the office moved into the
front part of Stamps Store.
Mrs Carrol, who has had
charge of the office during Dr.
Carrol's absence will join her
husband in their new home at
Menton, Arkansas, as soon as
she is releived.— Ore City News.

ing and non ih 1905 under a ten
year contract ending Sept. 1,
1918. In last, week’s issue the
type made it appear that the
lease would exnire in 1915.
Please correct the error. This
contract was made three years
before the old lease exnired.
