Huxford acknowledges his receipt of Carswell's letter which was written to Uncle Zeke and verifies the inquiry made by Carswell regarding the availability of the two spaces next to his mother's grave. He discusses Uncle Zeke's eyesight and advises of the help he gives to him with correspondence, checks and book work. He advises that Uncle Zeke and Dee want to convey their regards to Carswell, their old friend.

T. N. Carswell Collection
This collection was assembled by Thomas Norwood Carswell (1887-1978) and contains correspondence throughout his life. His files hold letters signed by most of the major political leaders of Texas during the 1940s through the 1960s, as well as letters signed by Presidents Harry S Truman, Richard M. Nixon, Senator Lyndon B. Johnson, and George Washington Carver. It also contains a scrapbook of his time at Simmons College.
