Notes

Text: 29 September 44. Dear Little Sister, I got your letter of September 5 yesterday -- I think it's wonderful that you can type write so well. It seems funny for you to be going back to school because we haven't had very much summer over here. There have been a few warm days, but most of them have been damp and cool. If you have Mother show you a map you will see that I am further north than you and so [stricken] it is not as warm. I am glad you have found a new friend whom you like. Especially now that David and I are not at home. The little girl who reminded me of you is named Gladys. Did Mother get a letter from her Mother? It's time too [sic] put out the lights, so good nite love - Rog--
