Text of letter: "Trinity Rectory, Van Buren Ark. July 4, 1888. Rev. & Dear Bro. This will be handed [to] you by a very worthy parishioner of mine, Mrs. Holmes, who goes to your city to engage in business. She is a Communicant of the Church in good standing, and I know will feel a deep interest in the Church’s welfare whenever she stops. I regret very much giving her up and trust you will show her every kindness, and attention in your power. Faithfully Yrs. LeGrand P. F. Guirny, Rector Trinity Church, Van Buren, Ark."
