Every Scale Warranted.Among the many certificates of the
merits of these Scales is one from the
Morris Canal Company, (Washington,
New-Jersey,) who put an immense scale
of two hundred tons capacity in their
Canal, in March, 1857. The platform
of this scale:is seventy feet long, one
end being seven feet higher thl , the
other; to quote from their ruertlcate
given in August, 1858, (aiter a seven-
teen months use of the scale,) they say:
" The use of the two hundred ton scale
has strengthened our opinion that it is
not only d able, but accurate, and
easily adjusted. There has been weighed
on it this season, from Aprilto this time,
about 248,000 tons, without altering,
in any respect, the sensitivenees of the
beam, or the accuracy of the rea 8.
This for a platform seventy feet long
and thirty feet wide, with a double
track, and the load oeighed on alter-
sate sides, is recommendation enough."Orders addressed to FRANK E. HOWE, 191 Broadway, New-York, will receive
immediate attention,
