The 1918 Foundation was created in 2017 to plan the celebrations for the 100th year of Boy Scout Troop 65, the oldest continuously chartered troop in Denton, Texas. The Foundation continues to operate by providing grants to scouts needing assistance with the costs of attending summer and high-adventure camps, annual dues, leadership training, and equipment.
