THE 2011-12 TRACK & FIELD ACADEMIC ALL-STATE
TEAMS. The Texas Girls Coaches Association awards ath-
letes for academic honors by selecting Academic All-State
teams in conferences 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A, and 5A. Athletes must
be seniors and must have a GPA of 94 or above for grades 9-
11 to qualify. Athletes are nominated by their member coach-
es, and member coaches must be a member before
November 1st of each membership year to nominate athletes.
