Type note on back: "Goldthwaite Cornet Band, May 11th 1892 This picture was made one mile west of Goldthwaite on the San Saba Road at a Sunday School Picnic. The photographer was Bob Jones. band members are from left to right; B. A. Harris, Fred Peck, Will Gresham, James Lammers, J. D. Urqhart, Mr. Boyer "Teacher", Joe A. Price, John Roberts, Jim Vickers, Newt Cole, A. J. Gatlin, I. G. Abney, and Jack Carswell. Corner Stone for the Bandstand that was erected July 1922 on the Courthouse Square for the Goldthwaite City Band. Floyd Mullan, Director."
