Notes

Text of correspondence: "Kilgore, Texas, Thursday. Dear folks: Surprise! It did me, but we left after the Bar-B-q.and Larry got off work Saturday nite [sic]. We wanted to go to the Gulf while we were here, but may not as it's so hot. The guys caught fish every day, and they took their lunch to day and aren't back yet. Kids sure are having one big picnic, we have our coon with us and he sure is everybody's pet. Sylvia"
