"The Round Rock Institute, also known as Greenwood Masonic Institute, and at other times known as Round Rock Academy, began holding classes in 1866 and continued to do so until 1913. The school, under all of its names, offered basic education and some college level classes, though the availability of higher education classes often changed as teachers came and went."
