Notes

"Capt. Nelson Merrell or Merrill was one of Round Rock's earliest settlers. In 1870, he hired French stonemason Antria Smith to build a family home for $1600 in what is now east Round Rock. In 1970, the house was listed in the the National Register of Historic Places."
