As the year clothes, we want to say
“Thank you” for your patronage. We
appreciate every bit of it. Our busi-

tions the past year. Improvements
will soon be under way which we be-
lieve will be mutually profitable, for
we are aiming at even a higher stand-
ard of quality and promptness than
ever before. We trust that the New

We Are Appreciative.
We are very grateful to our custom-
ers for the confidence reposed in us
since we have been in the land and in-
surance business. We have written
thousands of dollars' worth of fire in-
surance on Brownwood property, have
made some heavy bonds, been instru-
menetal in securing some good loans,
and have done a splendid real estate
business both in city property and
farm lands. We appreciate the favor
of the public and take this method of
soliciting a continuation of that con-
fidence. and a portion of your business
for the New Year. We believe we are
in a position to serve the public to the
best advantage. We earnestly trust
that good fortune may be your portion,
tbsk your investment! may prove pro-
fitable and success attend your every'
effort.' Cordially,

A CaN of Appreciation
We take this method of thanking the
good people of Brownwood for a most
liberal share of their trade and good
will durfog 1910 and to express the
wish that we may continue to be so
favored.
That we have made good Is evidenc-
ed by the large volume of trade which
wd have enjoyed the past year and are
still enjoying. When We first decided
to open a piano house in Brownwood
It was with the fixed determination to
present the trade the strongest line of
pianos that long experience in the
business and a keen appreciation of
the requirements of the trade could
possibly get together. Buying as we
did in great quantities for a number of
houses over the state, and knowing
the value or worth of every make of
piano on the market, we were in po-
sition to get the lowest prices of any
conceru In the state. This advantage
w e have used to the benefit of our cus-
tomers. and the man who buys an In-
strument from us Is assured of not
only getting a better instrument but
of getting it at a lower price than oth
era would ask for the same piano. We
carry In stock such well known Instru-
ments as The Knabe. I vers & Pond,
the Lester, Hobart M. Cable pianos,
all of which we sell under a rigid
guarantee to be Just exactly as we
represent them With this large num-
'ber of different makes It gives you a
chance to compare and select the
piano that Is best suited to your ueeds,
which is not possible with the smaller
dealers who handle only one or two
makes and then only such as can be
handled on a commission basts. Our
pianos are bought and paid for. They
are ours to sell or to gAe away If we
see fit, and for that reason wejran give
decidedly better terms than you can
net elsewhere Notes given *|a for de-
ferred iMtyntents are held by us and
are not traded off. thus saving the cus-
tomer |K>Hsll»le embarrassment when a
note falls due which he Is unable to
meet. These are a few of the many
reason* why you should favor ua with
your patronage.
We have no cauae to complain at the
business of the past year, in fact It
was all that we could have expected,
and we take this method of thanking
those who were instrumental In turn-
ing that patronage our way. We are
hopeful that the new year may be the
best In the history of the Brownwood
country and that you may share lib-
erally In the prosperity.
