The man holding a camera on his right shoulder stands closer in the foreground, looking to the left slightly as he rests his left hand under his right elbow. The man has short dark hair and short facial hair, and wears a dark ballcap, shades, a button-up shirt with thin white stripes, a belt, and jeans that the shirt is tucked into. There is a cylindrical object in the man's shirt pocket and his shirt sleeves are rolled up to the elbow as well. Behind and slightly to the right of the camera man is the second man who has short light hair and wears a white ballcap, shades, a long-sleeved t-shirt, a belt, and jeans that his shirt is tucked into. He is crossing is arms across his chest, left arm over the right, while his right hand holds a rolled up white paper. The duo is standing outdoors on a dirt ground with light, plastic canopies propped up over tables with people standing nearby throughout the background. An upside-down American flag flies at half-mast on a pole in the left half of the background while a large flag with a white star on a dark background extends from a thin pole in the right half of the background. A lien of cars parked alongisde each other extends across the photograph in the background behind the plastic canopies.
