Description

Photograph of a boy getting his portrait drawn at Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington. In the center of the photo, a man with short wavy hair and glasses dressed in a short-sleeved shirt and pants sits in a chair in front of an easel where he draws and paints the boy's portrait. The man has his art supplies in a tray on his lap and a towel laid over his left shoulder as he faces away from the camera, with the portrait he's working on pinned to a board on his easel. Two small lamps hang above the easel with a thick cord leading up and off-camera from the top of the easel. The young boy being drawn sits in a chair farther into the photo next to the easel as he faces the camera with a smile. The boy has short hair and wears dark glasses and a long-sleeved collared shirt. To the left and right of the young boy are additional easels and chairs, each with a bucket next to them. To the right of the boy's easel a young girl sits in a chair with her long hair tied back into a ponytail, wearing a striped sleeveless shirt and shorts. Behind her, another girl sits between two easels with a person seated in front of them. Beyond the cluster of easels is a large building with multiple sets of windows spaced out across its sides and a door in its left side propped open. On the ground between this side of the building and the area with the easels are two benches designed with leafy filigree. Trees and bushes line the edge of the large building, leading into the right side of the photo where a person stands behind a counter shaded by a hemispherical canopy with stripes and scalloped edges.
