Two children can be seen standing inside the fire engine, watching as a firefighter helps a young boy climb in from the passenger side. A police officer can be seen on the right side of the photograph, leaning his right arm on the passenger door. He appears to be speaking to the boy standing across from him. Three other young boys are standing in the street around the vehicle's passenger side.
