Typed version: A love letter from Carolyn R. Itri to her future husband, Nicholas C. Soviero. The letter reads, "How is my honey feeling today?" The letter continues with details on weekly mass, biking with friends in the neighboring areas and parks, going to the boardwalk by the beach, and how going places breaks up the days but seeing soldiers with their sweethearts makes Carolyn miss him even more. The letter closes, "In the meantime keep smiling & take care of yourself." Written July 2nd and posted July 3rd.

Notes
The author of this item is Carolyn R. Itri [1922-1997]. Daughter of Stephen Itri and Elsie White, Carolyn was born in the beach town of Long Branch Monmouth, New Jersey. Carolyn and Nicholas met in 1942 and at the time of these letters, Carolyn was 22 and Nicholas was 26.
