Notes

George Hurrell [1902-1992] was an American portrait photographer who is known as the master of Hollywood glamour. He worked briefly for MGM studios but after worked as an independent photographer out of his own studio. His work was a keystone to society’s relationship with Hollywood actresses of the 1930s and 40s.
