(Darien, Connecticut)--Four people died and 31 were injured last night when two Penn Central trains collided near Darien, Connecticut. one of the survivors was not freed from the wreckage until nearly five hours after the collision. One of the trains carried commuters, the other had only a crew. (Gulfport, Mississippi)--A total of 283 deaths have been attributed--directly or indirectly--to Hurricane Camille. And rescue workers are still searching for victims. Besides at least 243 killed by the storm itself in Mississippi, Louisiana, and Cuba, 40 people died in floods in Virginia and West Virginia. Another 32 are missing in Virginia. Meanwhile, Hurricane "Debbie" has changed course and it now appears the storm will pass east of Bermuda tonight. But that island probably will be hit by strong winds. (Seoul)--A 19-year-old Michigan girl visiting her sister who works for the U-S army in Korea, hitched a ride home yesterday with South Korean President Park. Park left for talks with President Nixon in San Francisco and the girl, Anne Mattson, flew on the chief executive's plane. She wrote Park two weeks ago saying she plans to go to college when she returns home but the cost of a commercial ticket would not leave her enough for tuition."
