VOICE OVER:
Members of the National Brotherhood of Packinghouse
and Dairy workers began voting on the proposition this
morning at the Oddfellows Logge in the 1900 block
of Gould. Union officials say that about 90 per cent
of the more than 11-hundred workers are expected to
vote.

swift wants the workers to give up the cost of living
clause in their contract, which includes a 20 per cent
