Description: The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an interview with Floy Hughes. Hughes joined the Navy in early 1941. From 1941 through early 1944, he served as a First Class Cook in the Officers Mess at Corpus Christi, Texas. Beginning April of 1944, Hughes did the same work at Camp Kearny in San Diego, California.
