On the front of the hat, off-set to the left, is affixed a wide black velvet ribbon from the top edge of the crown down to almost the brim. Description: Pillbox hat of beaded straw. The modified pillbox hat has a cylindrical crown of white straw embellished with tiny white beads sewn on in an all-over foliate design.
