Description: Copy of transcript for a letter from Thomas G. Western to Genl. Stephen F. Austin, in which Western informs Austin that he is leaving to attend the Convention in San Felipe, where he will raise concerns regarding the governance of the colonies and abuse of power by members of the Texas Revolutionary Army in Goliad. Western reports that many inhabitants have fled Goliad to avoid oppression and abuse.
