Description: The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an oral interview with Otto Schwarz. Schwarz joined the Navy in 1940 after spending some time in the Civilian Conservation Corps. After training at San Diego, he went to Pearl Harbor and was assigned to the USS Lark (AM-21). Once in the Philippines, he was transferred to the USS Houston (CA-30) in June 1941. Oral History Interview with Donald Morrison, August 7, 2019

Description: The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an interview with Donald Morrison. Morrison entered the Army on 1 September, the day before the war ended, and trained at Fort Bragg. He had an assignment at the US Military Academy at West Point and also attended a radio repair school in Oklahoma before being discharged in October 1946. He returned to the University of Nebraska and resumed his education. After the war, Morrison entered the Naval Reserve.

Oral History Interview with Ralph Kreamer, August 7, 2004

Description: The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an interview with Ralph Kreamer. Kreamer joined the Marine Corps and trained at San Diego. He went overseas in October, 1943 to Noumea before going to New Zealand. He then was in the assault on Tarawa. He recalls going to Camp Tarawa, then on to Saipan. Ralph’s wife, Ivy Kreamer, also contributes her recollections. She recalls various conditions at her home in England during the war and some of the rocket attacks.
