Description: The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an interview with Ervin Larson. Larson was born on 12 February 1923. He joined the Navy in February of 1943. He completed Torpedo School in Norfolk, Virginia learning about surface torpedo maintenance. Larson served as torpedo man with a field torpedo unit on New Hebrides.
