Aten says "Hello all- Received your letter yesterday & am glad to hear you are still all ok. It was approx 1850 miles down here. Arrived in good time Saturday. Rained most of this week and [?] of cold. Bought 8FL of antifreeze tonite (alcohol base) it is quite scarce here. Woodrow."

Description: Postcard featuring an illustration of the Rice Hotel in Houston, Texas. The hotel has three tall wings all erected from a shared foundation. The wings are build with red-brown bricks with white at the top and the foundation is build with the same white. The foundation between the middle and left wings is slightly shorter than the foundation between the middle and right wings, making the building asymmetrical.
