[Home of the Governor of Missouri during the Civil War 1863-1865]

Description: Photograph of a two-story hipped-roof house with wood siding that served as the Missouri Governor's house from 1863-1865 during the Civil War. The Governor rented it from Mrs. Mary Key. It was located at 204 East Crockett St. Architectural details indicate that the house was expanded and updated after the Civil War, later in the 19th century. [Log and Stone Buildings in Caddo Lake State Park]

Description: Photo-postcard of buildings in Caddo Lake State Park. A central building of stone masonry with a large chimney has log cabin wings on both sides. These buildings were constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) in the 1930s according to designs by Joe W. Westbrook and Fred R. Carpenter.
