A- Frank Smith, a district miss-
ionary board was ^established, of
which Bill Daniel of Liberty is*,
chairman. . ■
Orange, because of the great in-
flux of population, was chosen as
first ccnter of activity and Rev.
W. W. Hawthorne and a deacon-
ess, Miss Willie Mae Porter, be-
gan the work which culminated
in the. organization of St. Mark's
church.
