Description: Photograph of the 2nd capitol building for the state of Texas. There is a attached to the bottom right hand corner of the photograph a label that reads "The 2nd State Capital [sic]. Located on the site of the present Capital [sic], Burned in 1881." The land in front of the building is terraced and a pathway extends from the entrance down the terraces.

Description: Copy photo of T&P train #40 from T&P Topics magazine entitled "Among Our Souvenirs." Written below the image are "#40, built by the old Pittsburgh Locomotive Works at Pittsburgh, Pa. in 1876. Listed as a Class B-3 or 'Saddle-Back' type. The T&P bought only one of these - using it for switching at the Marshall Shops. Seemingly enlarged section of the boiler is its water tank, built around the steam dome. [Andrew J. Nelson Farm in the Country]

Description: Photograph taken facing east of the Nelson family gathered on the back top and bottom porches of the farm house built by Andrew J. Nelson, whom can be seen sitting on the bottom porch. A label with text on the front mat of the photo reads, "A. J. Nelson Farm in the Country. Family on proch. Built by Mr. A. J. Nelson in 1854, stone hand sawed. Stone from Cedar Park. (Notice lightning rods on top of roof)". The text can be seen repeated in penciled handwriting on the back.

[Antioch Baptist Church in Harrison County]

Description: Antioch Baptist Church is in the rural Leigh community of Harrison County. The location is the intersection of FM 1999 and FM 134. It was formally organized in 1866 by an African-American congregation. It began as a brush arbor. The first church, built in the 1880's, burned. The second building replaced it in 1921. This red brick building has air conditioning units enclosed in fencing on each side. The front gabled roof has a small gable above the entrance.
