Description: Photograph of Waco Masonic Lodge No. 92, a tall four-story building lined with windows. A square and compass symbol hangs along the facade of the building at right, above the building's lower entrance, which is lined with pillars. Above this entrance is a large shield containing a ring of stars, a large capital letter "G", and a smaller square and compass symbol. A crowd of people are gathered along the sidewalks adjoining the building.

Description: Funeral program for William Madison McDonald, born June 22, 1866 and died July 5, 1950. The funeral was held on July 5, 1950 at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. S. R. Prince. Funeral arrangements were made through Polk and Bailey Funeral Home Directors and he was buried in Old Trinity Cemetery, now Oakwood Cemetery, in Fort Worth, Texas.

[Midland City Hall Cornerstone Ceremony]

Description: Photograph of the cornerstone ceremony for the Midland City Hall, arraigned by the Masonic Lodge. The cornerstone is held by chains above the base of the City Hall's wall, nine courses of bricks partially built with a Mason holding a trowel above one of the corners of the wall. A band with sheet music stands is behind the wall, seated and watching the lowering of the corner stone, while the Texan flag is visible at left.

[Laying the Cornerstone of the Fannin County Courthouse]

Description: Photograph of the laying of the cornerstone of the Fannin County Courthouse in May, 1888. The ceremony was performed by a Masonic order, and they are identifiable in the photograph as individuals wearing white aprons around their waists. A man standing in a platform at center guides the cornerstone down to its place. The stone, a giant beige brick, hangs from above. A crowd of spectators, many wearing hats, are gathered around the ceremony.

Description: Personal check from the Fraternal Bank & Trust Company of Fort Worth, made out to the Grand Lodge, F&AM (Free and Accepted Masons) for $850.00 and signed by William Madison McDonald. McDonald was the Grand Lodge's Grand Secretary, and was a leader in the Black Masonic movement. His Fraternal Bank and Trust Company was located in the Grand Masonic Temple on East 9th Street.
