Description: Postcard of the south side of Hotel Galvez, in Galveston, Texas, viewed from the beach along the sea wall. Several people are on the beach and walking on the sidewalk along the sea wall; parts of the hotel grounds are also visible near the building. The postcard reads, "Dear G. M.: This shows the beach and sea wall and hotel Galvez at Galveston, Tex. All ok here. Hope you enjoyed your vacation. Yours, Walter". The postcard is postdated September 7, 1914.
