R B Store and Post Office

Description: Copy negative of the R. B. Department Store and post office in Danevang, Texas. The store was owned by Otto and Einer Harton. The one-story building features a whitewashed store front with a square awning that shades the windows and door. Two signs hang from the front of the building; one reads "R.B. Dept. Store" and the other "Danevang Post Office". The area in front of the store is covered with concrete, and trees are visible around the property.

[Two Men in Aprons]

Description: Photograph of two men in aprons standing outdoors near a car. They both rest their left legs on the bumper of the car nearest to them. They have been identified as Sam Ingvardsen and Babe Hansen, but accompanying information has not specified which is which. A store appears to be in the back, but the sign cannot be made out. Hand-written text on the back of the photograph reads, "Big Shots"; additionally, their names and coverage date has been written.
