[Threshing crew dinner]

Description: Russell T. Forte has written on the envelope containing the negative that the photograph was used in March of 1962 for the U.S. Department of Agriculture photography division for the centennial photo exhibit. Narrative by Junebug Clark: Photographs is from the 1940s and is shot in Cumberland Gap, Tennessee. Here in this shot, which is an outtake, neighbors have gathered to harvest wheat while the women folk prepared a Harvest Dinner for them during a break.

[Men Butchering Meat at Victory Food Show]

Description: Photograph of give men butchering meat, with cuts of meat displayed on the walls behind them. A banner on the wall above the meat reads "First Annual Travis County Victory Food Show, March 17-18." According to a handwritten note on the back of the photo, the third man from the left is T. A. Mayes. About six people are on the opposite side of the table watching the men.

Description: The Renfro Drug Company Menu lists the prices of their fountain drinks, sundaes, fruit drinks, coolers, milk drinks, desserts, sandwiches, and salads.
